Commissioned by Project Probe (Suze May Sho). Probe is an exhibition space, with walls no higher then 1,10m and a surface of 6m2. It’s a test lab, its small and practical dimensions enables artists to create works on scale that is unthinkable in real life. For two months we had the chance to make work within the Probe. The work we produced extends our research in certain materials and constructions that are based on balance and tension. The result is a series of 3 rooms. We have s elected materials, then divided them over three differently themed rooms. Room 1: stacking, the materials, leaning on each other. Room 2: glue versus gravity. Room 3: horizontal tension. The different patterns of foam and paint in the room are to classify the different themes.
